The Pack 175 Pinewood Derby is Sunday, March
14 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. |
|
|
Racing: |
|
|
Weigh-in starting at 4:00 - Cars
must be 5 oz. or under. BSA wheels must be used. |
|
|
Racing will start immediately
after dinner. |
|
|
There are two divisions.
The first race will be an open race for siblings, parents and
friends. The second race and main event, will be for all
scouts. |
|
|
Graphite wheel lubricant is not
allowed in the gym. |
|
|
Awards: |
|
|
First, Second and Third place
trophies will be awarded. |
|
|
Additional trophies will be
awarded for Best in Show, Most Creative, and Most Artistic. |
|
|
First through Third place and
Best in Show awards receive a free entry in the District Event |
|
|
Pitch-in Dinner: |
|
|
The Pack provides Hot Dogs and
Drinks |
|
|
Family Last Name A - J:
Please bring a Dessert |
|
|
Family Last Name M - Z: Please bring a Side Dish or Chips |
|
|
Cake Auction: |
|
|
Families are encouraged to bake a
cake, brownies or other delectable dessert to auction off during
the races. Cakes typically have a Cub Scout or Racing
theme. Families bid on the cakes during the breaks in the
racing action. Proceeds help pay for the Pinewood Derby
event. So bring a cake and a few dollars to bid on that
special treat to take home and enjoy! |

set up and tear down. Come a little early or stay late to

The North Star District Pinewood
Derby open to all Scouts. A small entrance fee is
customary. The date will be announced at our Pack 175
Pinewood Derby. |
