Awards

Belt loop awards are listed below.  Belt loops are typically earned on your own rather then as a den or pack  - simply complete the requirements listed on the following sheets.  Many scouts have probably earned a portion of a belt loop over the summer by participating in summer sports.  For example, the baseball belt loop, your scout will tell you the rules to complete item 1, and items 2 and 3 were probably completed last summer.  Please review the requirements for any belt loop with your scout so he understands that these awards are earned for his hard work and good efforts.  Belt loop awards can be earned at anytime.

Any awards earned should be e-mailed to your den leader the weekend before the Pack meeting.  The Den Leader will make a list for the Den and then forward the complete Den list to our Awards Chairman no later than noon on the Monday before our Pack meeting.

Religious Awards
The Cub Scout Religious Award Program focuses on faith and is one of the most rewarding of all scouting award programs.  For Catholic scouts, a ceremony is held in the Cathedral each February where the Bishop personally congratulates the Religious Award recipients.  Anyone completing the requirements by January 1 can participate in the Bishop's ceremony.  The medals are then awarded at a Christ the King mass in March.  This is a parent/scout program so please encourage you scout to consider working for this award.  Scout Religious Emblem programs are available for all religious denominations.
